Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Data generated from the Truleo software regarding each body worn camera event:

* Sentiment Label: Overall tone of the speech, typically labeled as positive, negative, or neutral.
* Sentiment Polarity: A numerical value indicating the degree of positivity or negativity in the sentiment.

I am aware that Truleo compiles body-worn camera data using artificial intelligence and generates electronic data as described above. I am also aware that this department has been (or is) under contract with Truleo. Therefore, I am confident that these records exist electronically.
Please deliver these records electronically to the email address miketopper123@gmail.com or electronic storage medium (thumb drive) in a machine-readable ASCII format, such as a CSV, SQL, TXT, or similar raw file. CSV or SQL files are preferred when available. I will prepay the actual cost of the storage medium and postage costs incurred if the records cannot be emailed.
Please also note that this request is not for commercial purposes, but for academic purposes, as I am a researcher affiliated with UC Irvine.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Tom Nash, a citizen of Virginia, in coordination with Michael Topper.
