Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

1.)All purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and agreements related to the acquisition of Yondr pouches or similar cell phone storage devices for use in Fairfax County Public Schools, particularly for the pilot program starting in the 2024-2025 school year at Frost, Irving, Jackson, Poe, Robinson, Thoreau, and Twain Middle Schools.

2.) Any policies, regulations, or guidelines developed by Fairfax County Public Schools regarding the implementation and use of Yondr pouches or similar cell phone storage devices in schools.

3.) Any studies, reports, or analyses conducted or commissioned by Fairfax County Public Schools regarding the impact of cell phone use on student learning, engagement, or achievement, which were used to inform the decision to implement the Yondr pouch pilot program.

4.) Minutes or records of any school board meetings or administrative meetings where the Yondr pouch pilot program was discussed and approved.
Any communication between Fairfax County Public Schools officials and Yondr company representatives regarding the implementation of this program.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and will contribute significantly to the public's understanding of the use of public funds and the implementation of new educational policies in our school system.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
