Good Morning,
We have received your public records request; however, we are unable to
fulfill it, as we do not have the ability to search every database, file
and employee's desktop for records containing a single word.
I can provide you consumer complaints and responsive, quickly and with no
charge.
Here are the complaints our office received from 2011 - last week.
(See attached file: Trump University - Redacted.pdf)
They include the ONE complaint some media outlets are erroneously reporting
was not handled appropriately. After a staff review of the ONE complaint,
the decision was rightfully made by our Citizens Services office to refer
the complainant to the New York Attorney General's Office, as their lawsuit
sought relief for any and all aggrieved consumers nationwide.
There have also been erroneous reports that NY had a multi-state lawsuit
into Trump University that our office refused to join. You may also want to
review the NY lawsuit to see that no other state joined the suit, as the NY
suit has nationwide standing.
Please let me know how you would like to proceed.
You can email me, or call me at (850) 245-0150.
Thank you,
Whitney
