Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
I respectfully request all available public records related to the arrest of Alexis Mackenzie Franke on or around August 2, 2024, by Florida Highway Patrol troopers following a DUI rollover crash in North Miami, near NW 135th Street on northbound I-95.
Specifically, I request:
All body-worn camera footage from FHP troopers involved in the incident and arrest.
All dash camera footage from FHP cruisers that responded to or documented the scene.
All in-vehicle (rear-seat) camera footage, including while Ms. Franke was detained or transported.

The subject was reportedly taken into custody after attempting to deploy a trooper’s Taser, following a single-vehicle DUI crash. She was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $10,000 bond.
This request is made in the public interest to promote transparency regarding law enforcement practices during high-risk roadside arrests involving potential weapon disarmament, DUI, and use-of-force protocols.
I am not seeking these records for commercial purposes and respectfully request a waiver of all applicable fees. I prefer that responsive records be delivered in digital format. If any part of this request is denied, please cite the specific exemption under Florida law and release redacted records where applicable.
