Pursuant to Florida's Sunshine Law (Fla. Stat. secs. 119.01 to 119.15 (1995)), I hereby request the following records:
I wish to see any and all files you hold on Raymond C. Lemme. An investigator found dead On July 1, 2003 , with his arm slashed twice with a razor blade near the left elbow in Room #132 of the Knights Inn motel in Valdosta, Georgia; a border-town some 80 miles from Tallahassee, Florida where Lemme lived and worked.

Hello,
The date range I would like you to search for is March 2001 through to 2007.
This is the time in which Raymond Lemme worked for the Florida Department of Transport (FDOT) until his supposed suicide in 2007 (I've linked a scan of a 'Hustler magazine' article on this matter) according to an 'Orlando Weekly' article also I've linked to. The article goes on to say that Yang Enterprises Inc may have been employing 'illegal aliens'. Which is what Raymond Lemme was said have been investigating during his tenure at the FDOT and in turn produced a report into this matter which I would also like see (if it exists).
In addition I would also like to see any reports you may have on illegal practices by Yang Enterprises Inc (YEI) and any communications you may have had with the authorities into Ray Lemme's death.
Lastly if you could pass on this request for information and the details I have provided to the Florida Department of Transport's Office of Inspector General?

The Department does not have any records responsive to your public records request. Note that the requested records, if they existed, would likely have been quite old (+10 years) may have been purged in accordance with the Department's general records retention schedule.
