Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Hello,
The roster of sworn police officers from 2016 - 2024
Names, badge numbers, serial numbers, division/station, sworn status.
The department's headshot photos of all of the same officers are referenced above. Duplicates from each year do not need to be completed. At a minimum, photos for 2023 - 2024 should be included.
Precedent: Santa Ana Police Department and LAPD have released their photos. A reminder that nothing in California Penal Code 832.7 mentions photographs in personnel records are kept confidential. Not only that, but videos and pictures of officers are regularly shared on social media.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

Hello,
LAPD, Culver City Police Department, Santa Ana PAD, and Garden Grove Police Department have released their photos. Multiple lawsuits to claw back the records citing officer safety have failed. LAPD has also released information about its officers' height, weight, and age. An attempt to not release that information failed in court as well.
"Headshot photos - withheld pursuant to Government Code section 7927.705 [peace officer personnel records] [California Evidence Code sections 1040 and 1043-1047; California Penal Code section 832.7(a)], California Government Code section 7927.700 [personnel, medical or similar files], California Government Code section 7922.000 [personal identifying information]"
The exemptions cited are null if your department publishes videos, photos, and other photographs of your officers online or elsewhere.
Please provide the records as other departments have done. I have attached photos as proof of what Culver City has released.
