I would like to obtain all emails sent to, from, or copied to Jack Seiler, Mayor from January 1, 2015 to Present day, containing any of the following non-case-sensitive key-strings: 'EB-5', 'Regional Center', 'Olas', 'Turnberry', 'USCIS' or 'EB5'.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

There is a special service charge for gathering/reviewing the emails. We are authorized to charge a special service charge pursuant to the statute below.
119.07(4)(d)
If the nature or volume of public records requested to be inspected or copied pursuant to this subsection is such as to require extensive use of information technology resources or extensive clerical or supervisory assistance by personnel of the agency involved, or both, the agency may charge, in addition to the actual cost of duplication, a special service charge, which shall be reasonable and shall be based on the cost incurred for such extensive use of information technology resources or the labor cost of the personnel providing the service that is actually incurred by the agency or attributable to the agency for the clerical and supervisory assistance required, or both.
If you want us to proceed, please provide us with a check made payable to the City of Fort Lauderdale in the amount of $3,508.97. We estimate it will take 152.70 hours at a rate of $23.44 per hour, which equals $3,508.97. You can drop off the check or you can mail it to Office of the City Clerk, 100 N. Andrews Avenue, 7th Floor, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Please indicate the Clerk's Public Records Request No. on the check, CLK-360-2018. Thank you for the update. I wanted to mention that the statute requires a response within 10 days. I did not receive a response or notice that additional time is required within these 10 days.
Given the costs, would it be possible to limit the search period to January 1, 2015 to January 1, 2016.
