Any and all information regarding the 2012 disappearance of Heather Dialian Hodges, agency case number 2012-010326.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

The information you have requested would consist of "documents and information, including complaints, court orders, memoranda, notes, diagrams, maps, photographs, correspondence, reports, witness statements, and evidence relating to a criminal investigation". These records comprise the criminal investigative file which is exempt from mandatory release pursuant to § 2.2-3706(B)(1). This Office has reviewed your request and has elected to exercise its grant of statutory authority to withhold the requested records. Your request for those records is therefore denied pursuant to §2.2-3706 (B)(1).
