Pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Full case documentation and autopsy report for Dondi Johnson (DOB 8/19/62) who died in policy custody on December 7, 2005. This should include, but not be limited to; police response report, CAD data from 911 call, autopsy report, witness statements, etc.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Dear Ms. Ryan,
We are in receipt of your request dated July 5, 2022 pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, a copy of which is attached to this email. That is the first request I have received with regard to Dondi Johnson, although it is referenced in your fax that it was a follow up request from June 10, 2022.
Please be advised that the only autopsy this Office possesses for Dondi Johnson is with regard to an open and pending criminal prosecution. Therefore, this serves as a denial of the MPIA request. In addition, this Office does not possess an autopsy with the date of birth for the decedent that you have listed.
