Pursuant to Florida's Sunshine Law (Fla. Stat. secs. 119.01 to 119.15 (1995)), I hereby request the following records:
A copy of all contracts for canoe rentals and leases that have been incurred within the last five years. From January 1, 2012 to present.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

We are in receipt of your request. The City of Freeport does not rent canoes but we do hold canoe classes for people on our riverways but they provide their own canoes.

As you will see from the Parks Director's response below, the City of Freeport has not held classes or tours for canoeing or kayaking. I'm sorry I was mistaken about that. We do not have any records to provide you at this time.

Sorry to bother you again, but I would now like to amend my request to the following parameters: Any records such as class price lists, waivers of liability, or participant sign up sheets related to archery or tennis classes provided by the City of Freeport in the past 5 years.
