On November 5, 2024, and November 6, 2024, bomb threats were reported at multiple polling locations in Fulton County. According to officials, two of these locations were briefly evacuated for approximately 30 minutes before resuming operations with heightened security. While the threats were ultimately deemed not credible, they impacted five polling locations, including:
Etris-Darnell Community Center
C.H. Gullatt Elementary School
5790 Feldwood Rd, Atlanta, Georgia, 30349
1561 McLendon Ave NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30307
395 Chamberlain St SE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30312
Some threats were communicated via email, while others were possibly made via phone.
