Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
- Any complaints reported against Gainesville police officers assigned as school resource officers between Jan. 1, 2009 and Nov. 1, 2019.
- Any records of disciplinary actions taken against Gainesville SROs during the above-mentioned time period.
- Any spreadsheets, logs, or other records tracking misconduct lawsuits against Gainesville SROs during the above-mentioned time period.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good Afternoon,
We were able to complete your request; however, we do not have any spreadsheets, logs, or other records tracking misconduct lawsuits against Gainesville SRO's during the mentioned time period. This public record request took 18 hours to complete, at a rate of $16.00 per hour. We will not charge for the first half-hour, so you are being charged for 17.5 hours, which is a total of $280.00. Please advise how you would like to make this payment. Once we receive this payment, we will mail you the cd with the requesting information.
