To whom it may concern,
This is Steven Jenkins, the assistant city attorney of the City of Gary. I'm writing to you with regards to your FOIA requests. I want to let you know that we are still working on them. I ask that you give us some more time. However, one of your requests is partially outside of our jurisdiction. The address 3860 is not the correct address for the incident you are referring to. The actual address is 3814 Grant Street, which is Lake County's Jurisdiction. You will have to FOIA them with the correct address to get the police reports you're asking for.
Please feel free to direct any further inquiries you have to me at this email address.
Best regards,
Steven D. Jenkins

To whom it may concern,
I wanted to follow up on the last message I sent on the 10th of August. Since the email address you're using is different this time, I wanted to CC you to the reply of the old message I sent. The Police Department is still working on the request. One of your requests needs to be amended slightly for reasons I explained in my last communication. I ask that you forward any further questions regarding your requests to my email. Thank you.
Best regards,
Steven D. Jenkins
