To Whom It May Concern,

Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act (O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70), I am requesting access to public records related to frequent lottery winners through the Georgia Lottery Corporation. Specifically, I request the following:

1. Records of Frequent Winners (More Than Three Wins)
• Records Requested:
• A list of all individuals or groups who have won more than three prizes of $10,000 or more from January 1, 2021, to the present.
• For each individual or group, please include:
• The total number of prizes won.
• The prize amounts for each win.
• The dates of each win.
• The location (city or retailer) where each winning ticket was purchased.

2. General Winners ($10,000 and Up)
• Records Requested:
• A list of all individuals or groups who have won $10,000 or more from January 1, 2021, to the present, regardless of the frequency of their wins.
• For each individual or group, please include:
• The prize amount for each win.
• The dates of each win.
• The location (city or retailer) where each winning ticket was purchased.

3. Claims by Trusts or Entities
• Records Requested:
• A list of all lottery prizes of $10,000 or more that were claimed by trusts, LLCs, or other legal entities from January 1, 2021, to the present.
• For each claim by a trust or entity, please include:
• The name of the trust or entity (if applicable).
• The prize amount for each win.
• The dates of each win.
• The location (city or retailer) where the ticket was purchased.

Format and Costs

I request that these records be provided in electronic format (e.g., PDF, Excel, or CSV) if possible. If the cost of fulfilling this request exceeds $100, please inform me before proceeding.

If any part of this request is denied or redacted, I request a written explanation of the specific exemptions relied upon under Georgia law and instructions for filing an appeal.

Purpose of This Request

This request is made in the interest of public accountability and transparency. Identifying patterns of frequent and significant lottery wins helps ensure the integrity and fairness of the Georgia Lottery system and builds public trust in its operations.
