Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Email communications sent by and received by school board member Sterling Daniels regarding "collective bargaining" between the dates of April 19, 2021 and April 22, 2021.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Nash,
I have been out of the office since last Wednesday and unavailable to respond to your request. Thank you for your patience.
We are in receipt of your records request pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act. Please note that our records indicate that you have an unpaid balance of $33.14 from a previous FOIA request that we fulfilled for you on November 16, 2021. I have attached the original invoice for your reference. Since your you have an unpaid balance that is 30 days or more overdue, we will be unable to process your current FOIA request until this is paid in full, as permitted by § 2.2-3704(I) of the Code of Virginia.
As a reminder, we accept checks, and you may also pay using our online payment system (directions attached) if that’s more convenient.
In the future, please also note that I serve as the FOIA compliance officer for the school division, so please direct all FOIA requests to me, not Ms. Baker. This is not her area of responsibility.
