Pursuant to the Hawaii Uniform Information Practices Act, I hereby request the following records:
CAD (dispatch) record, written reports, any audio/video documenting the response to/at the incident location including body-worn and "dashcam", and any videos gathered during the investigation into the incident.
Incident: Nonfatal fall, 18yo victim, fell from a cliff on an illegal hiking trail, required helicopter rescue on 8/16/23, victim Caleb Kjenaas. Case ID is 3DCC-23-0000602 and case status is CLOSED.
This request should not be interpreted to encompass any exempt medical records.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically.
