To Whom It May Concern:
According to a press release from Gov. Kemp's office on June 8, 2023, the Governor's office awarded more than $83.5 million in grants for 118 qualified projects as part of the Community Public Safety Grant program. This included a total of four grants to the Doraville Police Department described in additional documents provided by the Governor: https://gov.georgia.gov/press-releases/2023-06-08/gov-kemp-announces-835m-community-public-safety-grant-awards#:~:text=In%20accordance%20with%20grant%20requirements,violence%20resulting%20from%20the%20pandemic.
Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
A copy of all documents, including but not limited to, applications, agreements, and reporting documents from the "Community Public Safety Grant" program for the funds received by the Hogansville Police Department as described in the Governor's press release and additional documents.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
e

Thank you.
I never agreed to the fees. Per my request, I specifically asked that, in the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request.
