Bureau of Conveyances
We certainly made the search that you suggest. Consequently we believe that there are filed documents and or deeds that have not been listed in your internet data base. We know that the original deed title of 91 and 51 Coelho Way, Honolulu originated from within the Bishop Foundation yet this conveyance is not listed in your data base but is indicated in other Hawaiian documents such as the property description used for tax purposes.
If you are confident that no such original deed exists please so state and we will presume that there are no additional documents.

Sincerely

Codefore Publishing.

In response to your follow up on 1/13/19.

The Bureau of Conveyance (BOC), like many other recording offices across the nation provide public record which usually do not fall under UIPA jurisdiction. Also like other jurisdictions, we do not do research for customers. In documents older than 1992, specific information regarding the desired document should be provided such as grantor, grantee, TMK, type of document, date filed etc. Once those details are provided, you will be contacted as to the cost to research and produce copies of specific documents if they were recorded with the BOC.

The screen shot of the 2/5/1982 dated document is available, as the screen shot notes, it is only available by purchasing a certified copy which will be sent via USPS.

Mrs.Nishida
We understand your postion. We are an international entity and it would be extremely expensive for us to personally go to HI to research your documents. Could you provide an estimate of the cost is to research and produce documents recorded for the BOC for the 91 Coelho Way TMK for documents older than 1994 for TMK #1-1-08 006 078?

Thank You

JD

Please stop referring to your request as a "Hawaii Uniform Information Practices Act Request", it is not one, all these records are of public record.

We are looking into your question and hope to get back to you next week.

Estimated cost to research and produce documents will be:

Research - $100
Cost for documents - $1/page + $10 (additional) for certification* per document [so if the research produces 5 documents for a total of 100 pages, the cost would be $100 + $50 = $150]
Total $250
*If you don't require certification of the documents, then the cost would just be $1/page.

If you are interested in having us do the research and sending documents, let us know.

We would do the research and then let you know the exact cost based on what documents are discovered, payment will be required prior to release of documents.

Any other questions let me know.
