Pursuant to the Idaho Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any emails containing the key words Transgender, Trans, HB 509, and HB 500 to or from Rep. Julianne Young, Rep. Barbara Ehardt, and Sen. Mary Souza. This can include but is not limited to any and all email, invitations, schedules, agendas and/or calendar items. I hereby request such correspondence from 1/1/2020 to present.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Please find enclosed all information responsive to your request for public records of Senator Mary Souza, submitted to our office on March 3rd, 2020. It should be noted that pursuant to Idaho Code section 74-109(1) some records may not have been included in this response because they are exempt from disclosure.
To the extent you consider this response to be a denial or partial denial of a request for public records you have the right to appeal such denial pursuant to Idaho Code section 74-115. Under that code section, you have 180 days from the date of denial to petition a district court for an order compelling the production of the public records to which you believe you have been denied access.
