Pursuant to the Indiana Access to Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Hello, according a criminal complaint filed against Akram Musleh, a former student at Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, Indiana, school officials in conjunction with the FBI "took steps to dissuade him from radical extremism". https://www.justice.gov/opa/file/868911/download
I am requesting all records and communications related to the steps the school and FBI took to dissuade Mr. Musleh in this regard, and whatever ad hoc or formal programming was used to do so.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

After review of your request, it was determined the Department does not maintain the records you are requesting. Under the Access to Public Record Act (APRA), an agency is not required to produce a copy of a record it does not maintain. See Opinion of the Public Access counselor 01-FC-61; see also Opinion of the Public Access Counselor 08-FC-113 ("if the records do not exist, certain the [agency] could not be required to produce a copy...."). I would suggest you contact the Brownsburg School Corporation to gather this information.
