Pursuant to the Indiana Access to Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

The user manual and any supplemental appendices, exhibits, indices, and auxiliary documentation for the use and operation of the body camera (or cameras) employed by officers and representatives of this agency.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Ms. Lipton,

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department ("IMPD") is currently in a pilot program that is utilizing three (3) different body cameras: Axon, Motorola, and Utility.

I was unable to locate a physical copy of the user manuals in the pilot within the agency; however, I was able to locate manuals online for Axon (a quick search for Axon Body Camera manual brought up a PDF version) and Motorola: https://www.motorolasolutions.com/content/dam/msi/docs/products/si200_body_worn_camera-quick_reference_manual_na_20190228.pdf.

A search for the Utility user manual was unsuccessful.

My apologies we did not have more responsive documentation for you.
