Pursuant to the Iowa Open Records Law (Code Chapter 22), I hereby request the following records:
Emails to and from the company Energy Transfer Partners, which has a domain of @EnergyTransfer.com from the date 4/1/16 to the date this request is processed. Any address with the domain @EnergyTransfer.com is valid for this request, no matter what rank in the company they are.
As a member of the news media who has been published nationally by Motherboard, DeSmogBlog, and MuckRock tens of times, I respectfully ask for a fee waiver for this request. A link to my work for Motherboard can be found here: https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/contributor/curtis-waltman
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for submitting your open records request. I received your
request today, May 11, 2017. It is my understanding you are seeking: All
emails to and from the Office of the Governor and users utilizing an
"@EnergyTransfer.com" email suffix dated between April 1, 2016 and May 10,
2017.
Our office charges for open records requests. Our office provides three
free hours of staff review time, and ten pages in hard copy free of
charge. Beyond that, our office charges $33 per hour for staff review time
and ten cents per additional hard copy page.
Please confirm that my understanding of your open request request criteria
is accurate, and that you understand and accept our office's open records
charging policy.
