Reports on the number of gun-related deaths from 2010-present. Please include all available segregable data.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Attached, please find an Excel document that provides data on the number of firearm-related homicides from 2010-2015. Data is provided for three different UCR offenses: Murder and Non-negligent Manslaughter, Negligent Manslaughter, and Justifiable Homicide. While Murder and Non-negligent Manslaughter and Negligent Manslaughter are crimes, Justifiable Homicides are not. As up to three different weapon types can be recorded per offense, a dichotomous "Any Firearm" variable was created. This variable captures if a "firearm (type not stated)," "handgun," "rifle," "shotgun," or "other firearm" was reported in any one of the three weapon type variables. As noted previously, suicides and accidental deaths are not included in these counts.
The original request seems to seek reports on the number of gun-related deaths, but then also seeks "all available segregable data." I'm not sure to what this refers but, if desired, I can provide demographic data on victims and offenders.
