Pursuant to the Mississippi Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All current policies maintained by the department regarding use of force.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

Our agency charges a $25 non-refundable fee to begin record requests. Please fill out this form and send a $25 money order, made payable to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, to P.O. Box 998, Pascagoula, MS 39568. Once I receive your request and payment, I will begin to fill your request. If the amount of information you request goes beyond the $25 fee, you will be notified of the balance to send before the information is sent. It doesn’t appear there will be any additional charges, since it is just forwarding information to you.
