Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
I would like every and all detail to the murder of my Great Uncle Sgt. Gerald Francis Caton. He was murdered in 1942 on May 23rd. Please Return As soon as Possible.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I have received your request for the record of your Great Uncle Sgt. Gerald Francis Caton. After reviewing our records, it was determined this incident did not occur in the Jacksonville Police Department's jurisdiction at the time of the event.
