Custodian of Records

From: Missouri State Senate

Dear Ms. Cadostin,

I am writing on behalf of the custodian of records for the Missouri Senate regarding your request for records under the Missouri Sunshine Law. One of the terms listed in your request was "EIN". This followed the term "Election Integrity Network". It is my sense that EIN was an abbreviation for Election Integrity Network. However, EIN also is an abbreviation for employer identification number used in federal and state tax law and is thus capturing a number of documents that may not be responsive to the focus of your request. To streamline the review of responsive documents, please let me know if you would like to include any document that includes EIN when used in tax law or if we may determine that such records are not responsive to your request.

Please contact me at this email address or 573-522-7910 if you have any questions or would like to discuss this request further.

Sincerely,

Jim Ertle, Director
Missouri Senate, Division of Research
State Capitol, Room B-9

Ms. Cadostin,

Thanks for your response. I forwarded it to Kristina. Just so we are clear, can you let me know if you would like all responsive documents that include “EIN” when used as an abbreviation for employer identification number. Or can we exclude such documents from the responsive documents?
Thanks,

Jim

From: Victoria Cadostin

Hi Jim,

You can exclude "EIN" when used as an abbreviation for employer identification number. Thank you!

My best,
Victoria
