Reconsideration of graphic novels by, and author visit from, Jerry Craft (Katy, TX)

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

(1) All materials regarding the reconsideration of the graphic novels of Jerry Craft, including (but not limited to) the initial petition, orders regarding the reconsideration process, feedback from the community and others, any applicable District Policies, and any internal or external discussion of the foregoing.

(2) All materials relating to the disinvitation of Jerry Craft from speaking or presenting to student, faculty, and/or staff at Katy ISD beyond those included in item 1.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
