In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.
Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern:
I wanted to follow up on the following Wisconsin Open Records Act request, copied below, and originally submitted on April 13, 2023. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response.
Thanks for your help, and let me know if further clarification is needed.
From:
Dear Mr. Dhruv Mehrotra,
I am in receipt of your Public Records Request sent to the Kenosha Police Department (KPD). I am the custodian of records for KPD which include our responses for service calls within the city of Kenosha.
Your request is attached for reference. Could you please be more specific to the records you are seeking when citing: "any investigative reports for false reports of active shootings or bomb threats." KPD responds to hundreds of shots fired calls that are unfounded. Are you looking "swatting prank" calls that would include reported calls of mass shootings or bomb threats to schools or businesses or of a specific incident(s)
Please feel free to contact me via email or by phone so that I may address the records requests to your satisfaction.
Respectfully,
Sgt. Galley
Office of Professional Standards.
