Pursuant to Michigan's Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA"), I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of public records of all minutes of meetings and public hearings, and permits pertaining to construction of the “Caledonia Pipeline Project,” a Consumers Energy natural gas distribution pipeline project running from the 5700 block of Hastings/Broadway in Barry County, north into Ionia County to Keim Rd/84th St, then west into Kent County to Whitneyville Ave. and which may be known by another name, as well as any expansion of natural gas distribution into Calednoia Township. Further, I request an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of all communication between road commission members and Consumers Energy including digital communications, communications delivered by US Mail and a log of all telephone calls pertaining to the Caledonia Pipeline Project and any expansion of natural gas distribution into Caledonia Township.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
