Public Records Request – Arrest Incident Summaries (Sept-Nov 2024)

Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting incident summaries for all arrests made by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department between September 1, 2024, and November 30, 2024.

I am specifically requesting:

Date & Time of Incident
Address
Case Number
Officers Involved
Type of Incident/Arrest Charge
Brief Summary of Events (excluding sensitive or restricted details)
Disposition (if available, such as “suspect booked” or “case referred to DA”)
I do not require any personally identifiable information of victims, minors, or witnesses.

If this request is too broad, please provide records for a shorter period or let me know how it can be refined to comply with your records policies. I am willing to pay any reasonable processing fees; however, I request an estimate before incurring any costs.

Please let me know if this request can be fulfilled electronically via email or online portal. If the records are not available in summary form, I would appreciate guidance on how to access publicly available arrest logs.

To Whom It May Concern,

Thank you for your March 20, 2025 response regarding my public records request for materials related to the October 12, 2022 incident involving Rorie Susan Woods and Hampden County Sheriff's Deputies.

I understand that the records are currently being withheld under Exemption (f) due to an ongoing investigation or prosecution.

Accordingly, I respectfully request the following:

1. That the responsive records be **released to me once the investigation and/or prosecution has concluded** and the exemption no longer applies.
2. If full release is not automatic, I request that your office **notify me when the case has closed** and the materials become subject to disclosure under the Massachusetts Public Records Law.
3. If any **segregable or non-exempt records** (such as publicly issued statements, press releases, or booking data) can be provided now, I request those materials in advance of full disclosure.
