From: Harun
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
Incident Details for Footage Retrieval:
Suspect: Christy Turman, 37
Incident Summary: Deputies responded after Turman reportedly called 911 to report that she was in the process of stealing a car from a dealership so she “could do it legally.” She allegedly stated she was training in a game of Black Ops to steal a car but contacted 911 to make the crime legal. Deputies arrested her at the scene.
I am requesting copies of all body-worn camera footage from officers who:
Responded to the initial 911 call.
Interacted with or detained Turman.
Conducted any interviews related to the incident.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.
Sincerely,
Harun
