To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
The number of cadets commissioned in each of the Services further broken down by race, gender, ethnic background and NCAA athletes VS non-NCAA athletes for the past 10 years to the current academic year. If this information to the requested level of detail is available for download on the VMI or other website I am willing to accept those links and download them myself.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

A message was sent to you regarding record request #25-14:
VMI requires all outstanding balances in excess of 30 days be paid, in accordance with Va. Code § 2.2-3704(I.), On Dec. 3, 2024 when responsive records were released, you were also provided an invoice for the actual cost of fulfilling request 24-73 in the amount of $138.66. However, only payment in the amount of $76.30 was received leaving a balance of $62.36. Until this balance is paid, VMI will not begin processing this and future requests.
