To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Records for all Name Image and Likeness Clubs for NCAA teams and/or athletes at VMI to include, without limitation, Club Charters, operating proceedures, members, faculty or other advisors, financial records and all regulations, policies, Memorandums and proceedures that govern their creation, operation, membership, disbursement of funds, and other matters for the period August 1, 2022 - the date of this request. Records should also include any and all exemptions from VMI policies, regulations, memorandums or other governance.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

A message was sent to you regarding record request #25-10:
VMI requires all outstanding balances in excess of 30 days be paid, in accordance with Va. Code § 2.2-3704(I.), On Dec. 3, 2024 when responsive records were released, you were also provided an invoice for the actual cost of fulfilling request 24-73 in the amount of $138.66. However, only payment in the amount of $76.30 was received leaving a balance of $62.36. Until this balance is paid, VMI will not begin processing this and future requests.

Please also include a list of all sanctioned NIL clubs at VMI or confirmation none are so sanctioned, exists or are authorized. Also the process for organizing and receipt of approval for NIL Clubs at VMI with any applicable governing regulations and approvals or denials.
