To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting full current copies of the various "Books" of VMI policies and regulations. Those known to exist as mentioned in General Order Number 1 and other public documensta are the "White Book", "Blue Book," "Black Book" and "Green Book". If there are other "color books" please provide them. If any of these or other "Color Books" are not currently published please provide the last available copy. Whereas these are standard publictions in current use by VMI I expect they can be provided expeditiously and without cost.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for filling my request. I have a follow-up question. Some records oare missing or I may be missing them. The "books" and especially the "Bluebook" makes numerous references to an "NCAA Standing Permit" for NCAA Athletes but I cnnot locate that record. Can you assist me in locating it or provide it?
