In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Good morning Mr. Jayroe,

Your FOI request #0829 is being processed. Due to the large amount of information you requested, I have been advised by the record keeper that they will need additional time to pull the remaining data. I have been provided with the data from 2008-2012 and it is attached to this email. I anticipate providing 2013-2016 to you before or by Friday, July 17, 2020 at 4pm. "It should be noted that the reports from 2008-2011 will not have much data in them and rarely will the types of force/resistance or injuries be annotated. Also, there may be more officers and citizens listed in an incident that were not actually involved in the use of force. This is because prior to 2012, the use of force reports were entered by civilian employees. These employees would add everyone listed on the report as being involved, even if they were witnesses. As of 2012, patrol supervisors have been making use of force entries, which is why there is more data in 2012-2016. Thank you for your patience and have a good weekend.
