Ms. Lipton,
I am general counsel for the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office. I received a fax from you today. The fax was to my fax number at my office. It purports to be dated July 6 and while the date caption reflects it is addressed to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office the reference to your June 30 portion of the fax is addressed to whom it may concern.
I have checked with my client and the receipt of your request by my office is the only notification sent. They have no record of receipt of this request.
With that said please be advised that the facilities used by the Sheriff for the operations of his office are not under his jurisdiction. Those facilities are operated and maintained by the governing authority of the parish, the Livingston Parish Council. The will likely have the information that you are requesting.
Of course if you have any questions please feel free to contact me

Ms Beryl,
After sending my recent email I realized that the Sheriff does have one facility, recently built and placed in use and under his jurisdiction. That facility is used for a workforce operation. I will reach out to the appropriate person to see what information we have that is responsive to your request.

Mrs. Beyrl,
As you may or may not know Livingston Parish sustained severe flooding in the middle of August. My office and house flooded and I have just recently been able to set up a temporary office. I apologize for the earlier delay in responding. I am informed that the Workforce building, mentioned in my earlier email has three three ton units that service that building. They are controlled by thermostats. There are no records that reflect the ambient temperature of the building.
Let me know if you need anything else.
