Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
I'm seeking a copy of the district's full contract with SN Tech for the Aeigs facial recognition system, described here https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/06/business/facial-recognition-schools.html and here https://www.lockportjournal.com/news/local_news/lockport-caught-in-middle-of-facial-recognition-fight/article_7a0e2af1-f659-5465-9530-525bd4a1aec8.html.
I am a member of the news media making this request in the interest of newsgathering. I'm willing to pay up to $100 in fees.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
