The Official Military Personnel File (OMPF), including all Fitness Report and Counseling forms (NAVPERS Form 1610/2), the most recent Cumulative Record Of Training (NAVPERS Form 5300/16), the Background Summary (NAVPERS Form 1640/32), Officer Personnel Action Requests (NAVPERS Form 1301/85) and Form DD-214, for Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg (date of birth: 01/19/1982 ).

According to public reports, Buttigieg was commissioned as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve in 2009 and served through 2017.

Buttigieg is a politician in Indiana who is currently running in the Democratic primary for the 2020 presidential election. Because he is actively seeking office, with a campaign based in part on his affiliation with and work for the U.S. military, there is an obvious urgency to inform the public about the veracity of his claims to alleged government activity.

Please note that this request is being filed under the Freedom of Information Act only. It is not being filed under the Privacy Act. Should any portion of the requested records require a privacy waiver, please redact or withhold said records.
