Dear City of Lowell,

Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, G.L. c.66, §10, I hereby request a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Lowell Public Schools and Lowell Police department on behalf of Citizens for Juvenile Justice, a non-profit advocating for equitable youth justice in MA.

I am specifically seeking records that detail the collaboration between Lowell Public Schools and Lowell Police Department regarding school resource officers (SROs) and their responsibilities in Lowell Public Schools.

I request that any fees be waived, as the requested information is in public interest. However, if fees are unavoidable, I would appreciate if you would inform me before fulfilling my request. I would also prefer if the request could be filled electronically via email.
