Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all training materials used in the past four years (January 1, 2020 through January 1, 2024) that mention excited delirium / agitated delirium / bell's mania / lethal catatonia.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Madison County, NY has reviewed your request and has determined that the records requested are exempt from disclosure under NY Freedom of Information Law for the following reasons: §87 2a. Each agencyshall, in accordance with its published rules, make available for public inspection and copying all records, exceptLast updated September 11, 2024that such agency may deny access to records or portions thereof that: (a) are specifically exempted from disclosure by state or federal statute; The Madison County Sheriff's Office utilizes the services of a third party called Lexipol for our training purposes and under that contract their materials are not permissible to be shared by our office.
