The data record layout, data frame, or any equivalent data framework used by this agency to document maternal deaths. Materials responsive to this portion of this request should include reference to the data elements collected by this department and should not include any personal information. Please feel free to redact any personally-identifying information.
If any clarification is necessary, please feel free to call the MuckRock Office at 617-299-1832.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by 1 M.R.S.A. ยง 408(6). The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good morning Ms. Lustig
Please find attached a 10 year summary report for maternal deaths and manner of death. It is the only report that we run on maternal mortality and update it yearly. We are working on finalizing the 2016 file, so it has not been updated to include that year yet. It will probably be a couple more weeks before that is final. I can send when ready, in the meantime, I have attached the latest available.
