Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
I am writing to formally request access to the bodycam footage under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) related to the arrest of a woman identified as Alexandria on 09/18/2022.
Incident Details for Footage Retrieval:
Date: 09/18/2022
Location: Maitland, Florida
Suspect: Alexandria
Incident Summary: Alexandria was involved in a dispute with her father regarding transportation. When officers arrived, they attempted to reason with her, explaining that her father was not obligated to drive her. Despite multiple requests to exit the vehicle, Alexandria refused and was eventually removed from the car and placed under arrest. During the encounter, she made allegations against the officers and resisted arrest before being taken into custody.
I am requesting copies of all body-worn camera footage from officers who responded to this incident.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Only check or money order can be accepted. We do not have the ability to process electronic payments. Checks or money orders must be made payable to the City of Maitland.
You may mail a check or money order made payable to the City of Maitland for the service fees to the address above, and your items will be mailed to you at an address you provide. DO NOT mail cash. Again, we do not have the ability to process electronic payments.
If your request includes body camera videos, they are too large to send electronically and will be downloaded to a compact disk (CD).
The Maitland Police Department does not grant access to videos, and we do not upload them to outside servers/platforms for security reasons.
Please note if your payment is not received within thirty (30) calendar days, we will consider your request withdrawn.
