Request for Body Cam Footage of Marcus Jordan Arrest [February 4, 2025]

Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

I am writing to formally request access to the bodycam footage under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) related to the arrest of Marcus Jordan on February 4, 2025.

Date: February 4, 2025
Location: Maitland, Florida
Suspect: Marcus Jordan, age 34
Incident Summary: Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan, was arrested near Orlando for DUI with property damage, possession of cocaine, and resisting an officer after fleeing a traffic stop. Officers responded to a report of a damaged Lamborghini stuck on railroad tracks, where they found Jordan and his passenger. Jordan was later arrested after field sobriety tests.

I am requesting copies of all body-worn camera footage from officers who interacted with Marcus Jordan during this incident, including footage from the vehicle approach, arrest, and transportation to the station.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
