The requested documents will be made available to the general public. These records are being requested as part of a collaborative research effort and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

The City of Manteca City Clerk's Office is currently working closely with the Police Department on your request. The request will require searching for, collecting, and appropriately examining a significant amount of records. Under these circumstances, the City will need to extend the typical response time for production of responsive records under the authority of California Government Code Section 6253(c)(2). Our office is continuing to work closely with the Police Department to obtain the requested reports pursuant to your request and will provide a response on or before Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
