Pursuant to the Arizona Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records (with the time frame limited from January 1, 2023 to the time that this request is processed):
1) Any internal presentations or planning documents for operating any Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram account created, operated, or maintained by your agency that specifically relate to the 2024 election. This includes PowerPoint or other similar slide presentations, memoranda, reports, notes, spreadsheets, memorandums, directives, etc. — whether in an electronic or print medium, original or copy, or draft or final form — as well as emails, texts, and Slack messages.
2) Any internal presentations or planning documents that relate to recommended safety practices by employees for your agency during polling/the 2024 election. This includes PowerPoint or other similar slide presentations, memoranda, reports, notes, spreadsheets, memorandums, directives, etc. — whether in an electronic or print medium, original or copy, or draft or final form — as well as emails, texts, and Slack messages.
3) Any internal presentations or planning documents that specifically relate to the 2024 election which mention “misinformation” or “disinformation” or “propaganda” or “fake news” or “stop the steal” or “true the vote” or “truth social” or “parler” or “Qanon” or “pizzagate”. This includes PowerPoint or other similar slide presentations, memoranda, reports, notes, spreadsheets, memorandums, directives, etc. — whether in an electronic or print medium, original or copy, or draft or final form — as well as emails, texts, and Slack messages.
Thank you in advance for your help! Please let me know if there are any ways that I could modify my request that would make it easier for your office to process while retaining the general scope of the request.
This FOI request is being filed in pursuit of a time-sensitive news story. Therefore, I ask that my request is expedited. Also, I am a member of the news media as a reporter for Business Insider, and the requested documents are in the public interest and not being made for commercial purposes. Therefore, I ask that all fees are waived in the processing of my request.
When completing this request, please prioritize whichever records would take the least amount of time to be located and released (rather than prioritizing whichever records are named first). Also, please release documents on a rolling basis, as they become available.
Also, I would like these records in electronic format, sent via email or other digital method.
