The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has received your request for public records and is processing your request. Please be aware, if you are requesting records with large amount of body camera videos and or high-profile cases, the time to complete your request may be significantly longer as these cases are often voluminous. Identifying the specific record(s) being requested may help expedite your request. You will be notified once records are made available for you to download or pick up, or if no records are found. ***Effective February 1, 2024, pursuant to ARS 39-129, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Legal Liaison Section has implemented a new fee schedule for requests for video recordings. The fee for processing video recordings is $25 per each video-hour ($6.25 per quarter hour). In the event there are contemporaneous multiple requests for the same video, the cost associated with processing the video will be shared equally between all requesting parties at that time. Requests for previously processed videos will be at no cost unless the requestor wishes to receive a hard copy instead of an electronic copy. Fees for hardcopies are listed below. ***

The fee breakdown for hard copies are as follows:

Documents: $.50 for each page

CD’s: $15.00 each

Your records are ready for release. However, there is a charge of $6.25 for the video which is approximately 1 minute 25 seconds long. You can send payment to MCSO Media Relations at 550 W. Jackson St. Phoenix, AZ 85003. MCSO accepts, business checks, cashier’s checks, money orders and cash (exact change). Please make check payable to the Maricopa county Sheriff’s Office. Once payment is received, we will send an electronic link for you to download the video. Thank you

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is in receipt of your payment of $6.25, Check #0000012204 for documentation.
Your records are available and can be downloaded HERE<https://mcso.sharefile.com/d-s1c872fe0fa5241b28d8ea0b34742087a> for free for the next ten (10) business days. Once you click on the link you will need to input your name and email address to access the records. The link will automatically expire in 10 business days and files are deleted. If you fail to download these files, you will need to resubmit a new request to obtain copies. If you would like a hard copy, please respond to this email and an appointment will be set up for purchasing.

Below is the process and fee associated with requesting hard copies.

Hard copies will be available only by appointments only. Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding holidays. Your records will be available for review or purchase for the next 30 business days from the date of this notice. A price will be provided if you choose to receive hard copies.

Your records can be picked up at the Sheriff's Office headquarters at 550 W. Jackson, Phoenix AZ 85003. By appointment only.
