To Whom It May Concern:
I wanted to follow up on the following Maryland Public Information Act request, copied below, and originally submitted on Aug. 22, 2024. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response.
Thanks for your help, and let me know if further clarification is needed.
From: Office of the Governor
Good morning,
This email is in response to a Public Information Act request received by
the Office of the Governor on September 9, 2024, seeking the following
records: "All communications between Permit Power (
https://www.permitpower.org/), including NickJosefowitz and Ben Davis, and
any department, agency, or entity at the State level in Maryland (MD),
including but not limited to Maryland Energy Administration (MEA)."
The Office of the Governor is not the custodian of records for any other
unit of State government. I can proceed with searching for responsive
records within the custody of the Office of the Governor, but would like to
confer on how to narrow your request to specific custodians. I suggest
searching for responsive records within the custody of the Governor, Chief
of Staff, and Deputy Chief of Staff whose portfolio includes energy-related
departments and entities. Please respond to let me know if that is
acceptable to you.
In order to submit PIA requests to other units of State government,
including departments, agencies, and other entities such as the Maryland
Energy Administration, please refer to the list of official custodians
published in the Office of the Attorney General's manual on the Public
Information Act, Appendix J, linked here
