From: Adanya Lustig

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c.66, §10, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of the bid submitted in response to Amazon's request for proposals for the site of its second headquarters, any contracts with third-party providers for services rendered regarding the Amazon HQ2 bid, and any marketing budgets regarding Amazon-related expenditures from September 1, 2017 to the date this request is received.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Adanya Lustig

Ms. Lustig

Thank you for directing your inquiry to the Records Access Portal. Our experience has been that it is much more reliable than sending faxes.

EOHED has identified records responsive to your request and is processing them for production. The files contain amounts of data that have proven taxing to our processing software, which is lowing things up, but we hope to be in a position to give you a substantive response by the middle of next week.

Ms. Lustig-

We did send you an email on 12/26 with the link to the documents. I’ve asked for it to be sent again. In the meantime, you may want to check your spam folder to see if there is something there.

If you don’t receive anything by the end of the day (it may be after 6:30), please let me know and we’ll look for another option. We may need to try another email address, or I could also send you a DVD with the documents by mail.
