Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, I hereby request the university email addresses of every undergraduate student registered for any number of credits in the Spring 2025 semester at UMass Dartmouth. This request is not for commercial purposes, nor is it a media inquiry.

Please provide this information electronically by spreadsheet. Please deliver the requested spreadsheet via email to aj@vincelli.org no later than Monday March 10th 2025 (10 business days from today).

We have received your Public Records Request for "university email addresses of every undergraduate student registered for any number of credits in the Spring 2025 semester at UMass Dartmouth".

Please review our FERPA policy at https://www.umassd.edu/media/umassdartmouth/university-policies/new-policies/policies-2018/ACA-036_Policy-on-Family-Educational-Rights-and-Privacy-Act-(FERPA).pdf, which states:

"Although items may be designated by UMass Dartmouth as directory information, only a limited amount of this information is disclosed by UMass Dartmouth officials. The University retains the discretion to refuse to disclose directory information if it believes such disclosure would be an infringement of the student's privacy rights. Lists of students, including any directory information above, are not normally allowed to be released for non-UMass Dartmouth purposes."

We, therefore, respectfully decline to provide this directory information because doing so would be an infringement of our student's privacy rights and would not serve a purpose for UMass Dartmouth.
