Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c.66, §10, I hereby request the following records:
Any emails in computers or databases belonging to or in the custody of Massachusetts State Police, sent to or from any email addresses ending in "@kindermorgan.com", sent in between April 12th, 2017 until the date this request is processed.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Good Afternoon Ms. Raih,
I am in receipt of your public records request for "any emails in computers or databases belonging to or in the custody of Massachusetts State Police, sent to or from any e-mail addresses ending in "@kindermorgan.com<mailto:"any%20emails%20in%20computers%20or%20databases%20belonging%20to%20or%20in%20the%20custody%20of%20Massachusetts%20State%20Police,%20sent%20to%20or%20from%20any%20e-mail%20addresses%20ending%20in%20"@kindermorgan.com>". The Department of State Police would have to manually search every single e-mail account to complete this public records request. There are 2,605 active mailboxes currently assigned to Department personnel. Is there any way you can narrow the scope of the e-mail search request?

Thank you for your response. In order not to burden your agency I would like to limit my request. I am seeking any emails that contain the address "@kindermorgan.com" or the phrase "Kinder Morgan" sent to or from Troop B of the Massachusetts State Police as well as the MSP Media Relations Office.
